I'm a documentary and candid wedding photographer based in Weymouth, Dorset. No stiff poses, no rushed moments. I quietly follow your day as it unfolds and photograph the small moments between the big ones: a glance, fingers interlocking, a laugh, a tear.
If you hate being in front of the camera, you can go 100% documentary with no input from me at all, or I can give light-hearted prompts for your couple and family photos. I keep group shots to a relaxed 5 to 10, so you're not stuck lining people up all afternoon. You get all of the best photos from your day, with no upselling.
I'm an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming photographer, recommended by the Rebel Love Directory, and my low demand approach suits neurodivergent couples and families. I want you to feel like you have a friend with you.
Why they work this way
When I got married in 2017, we struggled to find a photographer whose style suited us. My daughter is autistic and ADHD, I'm AuDHD myself, and being posed would not have suited either of us. I wanted a low demand approach so I could enjoy my day without constant direction and interruptions.
I've spent over 15 years working in SEND, specialising in neurodivergence, and I've seen how wedding photography often comes with lots of demands and pressure. So I do it differently. If you're relaxed, having fun and being you, I can capture the real moments that show your connection.
