Our manifesto ✻
This is My Wedding Vibe
We are building a calmer way to find the people who will shape your wedding day. Less noise. Less guesswork. More of the suppliers you would actually want in the room.
My Wedding Vibe is a values-led community for the whole of the UK, built on a simple idea. The best weddings come from real connections, not the loudest adverts.
Somewhere along the way, planning got loud
Finding a wedding supplier should feel exciting. Instead it often feels like wading through a sea of sponsored listings, where the businesses at the top are the ones who paid the most to be there, not the ones who fit you best.
You search and you scroll, you open tab after tab, and you still have no real sense of who these people are or whether you would trust them with one of the biggest days of your life. The ranking is decided by budgets and algorithms. Your gut feeling never gets a look in.
We think that is backwards. Couples deserve to choose suppliers on character and craft, not on who topped up their advertising spend that month.
What we stand for
A few things we hold to, and will keep holding to.
Calm over noise
Planning a wedding is enough without a hundred businesses shouting for your attention. We would rather show you a smaller, considered group of people than an endless feed you have to fight your way through.
Community over competition
The suppliers in our community are not rivals scrambling for the top spot. They are real people who lift each other up, share what they know, and care about getting it right for you.
Every supplier vetted, properly
A place in My Wedding Vibe is earned, never bought. If they are here, it is because we believe in their work and the way they treat people.
Honesty about how this works
No hidden ranking games. No pay-to-be-seen. The way we make our decisions is something you can understand in a sentence.
Real people at the centre
Not data, not ad budgets. The couples planning, and the suppliers serving them.
Room for everyone, without having to ask
Neurodivergent suppliers. LGBTQ+ couples and the suppliers who welcome them properly. People planning an accessible or disability-aware day. You should not have to hunt for the businesses who already get it, or explain yourself to be included here.
How this actually works
Beliefs are easy to write down. Here is how ours show up in practice.
Every supplier is vetted before they join. We look at their work, their reviews, and the way they treat the couples they serve. Nobody buys their way in.
The directory is a perk of being part of our supplier community, the Vibe Tribe, not a paid advert. Suppliers join because they share what we stand for. Their listing is part of belonging, not a billboard they rented.
There is no pay-to-rank. You will never see a supplier sitting at the top because they spent more than the person below them. What you see is a vetted community, presented honestly.
And it is not only a directory. We bring people together in real life through the Dorset Wedding Sessions, so the connections start long before anyone signs a contract.
What changes when planning feels calm
For couples, it looks like opening a list of suppliers and trusting that every single one has been checked by a real person who cares. It looks like fewer tabs, fewer dead ends, and more of those quiet moments where you just know they are the right fit. You spend your energy imagining the day, not auditing strangers.
For suppliers, it looks like being part of something instead of competing inside it. A community that has your back, couples who already share your values before they ever get in touch, and a way to be found that rewards your craft rather than your ad budget.
This might be your kind of thing
My Wedding Vibe is for couples who care about who they work with, not just what it costs. For suppliers who would rather belong to a community than bid for attention. For anyone who has felt that the usual way of doing this leaves something out.
If you have been looking for calmer, more honest, more human, you are in the right place. This is built for the people who wanted more than the loud version.
If you read this nodding, you belong here
A manifesto only matters if people actually live it. That is where you come in.
Couples, hold every supplier you meet to this standard, ours included, and start with the journal or the Showcase. Suppliers, if these beliefs read like the way you already work, the Vibe Tribe is where you will find your people.
