Terms and Conditions

The short version

This website is run by My Wedding Vibe. You can read about what we are building, come to our events, and apply for a free listing on The Lineup. These terms cover using the site, applying for a listing, and, further down, the closure of our old paid membership.

Who we are

My Wedding Vibe is run by Gemma Hurlstone, a sole trader trading as My Wedding Vibe.

  • Postal address: Unit 158814, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL, United Kingdom.
  • Email: hello@myweddingvibe.com
  • Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZB858213.

Using this site

You are welcome to browse the site, read about My Wedding Vibe, join our events, and stay in touch. In return, we ask that you use it fairly. Please do not try to break, overload, or misuse the site, copy our content for your own commercial use without asking, or use it in any way that is unlawful or that could harm us or anyone else.

Staying in touch by email

When you give us your email to join our list or an event waitlist, we use it to send you the updates you signed up for. You can leave any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.

The Lineup: free supplier listings

The Lineup is our directory of UK wedding suppliers. Applying is free and being listed is free. In plain terms:

  • No fee, ever. There is no listing fee, no membership, no tier and no paid placement. Nobody can buy a higher position.
  • Application only. We read every application and every category is capped, so a place is not guaranteed. Once a category is full, further applications go on a waiting list. We will tell you either way.
  • Pricing transparency. Listed suppliers give a starting price or a useful range, and keep it roughly accurate.
  • What is not guaranteed. A listing is visibility, not a promise of enquiries, bookings, leads or income.
  • Your content. You keep ownership of the words and images you send us. You give us permission to show them on The Lineup and in our own promotion of it, and you confirm you have the right to share any photograph you upload. Ask us to remove your listing at any time and we will.
  • Conduct. This is a values-led directory. We may remove a listing if conduct is not in keeping with it.

Our previous paid membership

My Wedding Vibe previously ran a paid supplier membership called the Vibe Tribe. It closed on 12 September 2026. There are no active subscriptions and no further payments are taken. Anyone who paid has been refunded in full. If you paid and have not been refunded, email us and we will put it right.

These terms are written in plain English and are not a substitute for legal advice. If anything is unclear, email us and ask.

Sharing your story with us

If you are a wedding supplier and you send us a story, a real wedding, a styled shoot, advice or images through our Share your story form, these terms apply to what you send. In plain terms:

  • You keep ownership. Your words and images stay yours. By submitting, you give us a non-exclusive, ongoing, royalty-free licence to publish, edit and share your submission across My Wedding Vibe. That includes our website, blog, social channels, newsletter and marketing.
  • We may edit it. We might shorten, restyle or lightly edit your submission so it fits our blog and house style. We will always try to keep the meaning true to what you sent.
  • Submitting is not a promise to publish. We read every submission, but sending one to us does not guarantee we will feature it, or when.
  • We take your details as fact. You confirm that the information and credits you give us are accurate, that the work is yours to share, and that you have the right to share every image you send, with the consent of anyone pictured. If your submission includes another supplier's work, you confirm they are happy for it to be shared too.
  • Credit. We credit the people behind the work wherever we reasonably can, using the credits you give us. We cannot promise a fixed placement or wording for a credit.
  • No payment either way. Featuring your work is editorial, not advertising. There is no fee to submit and no payment for being featured.
  • We can take it down. We may decline to publish, or remove anything we have published, at any time and at our discretion. If you ever need something taken down, email us and we will sort it.
  • Your data. We use the contact details you give us to reach you about your submission, and we handle them as set out in our privacy policy.

Our content

The words, images, branding, and design on this site belong to My Wedding Vibe unless we say otherwise. You are welcome to look and to share links to our pages. Please do not copy or reuse our content for your own commercial purposes without asking us first.

Links to other sites

We sometimes link to other websites, for example a supplier's own site or a service we use. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their terms. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.

No guarantees, and our liability

We put care into this site, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or exactly what you were looking for. The information here is provided in good faith and for general information. Nothing on this site is professional advice.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.

Changes to these terms

As My Wedding Vibe grows, these terms will grow with it. If we change them, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, for example when membership terms are added, we will make that clear.

Law and where disputes are handled

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
